In 2025, DKE will frequently appear on the global industry stage, from well-known overseas electronics exhibitions at the beginning of the year to a series of domestic industry events, consistently demonstrating the unique value of electronic paper technology. At this exhibition, we showcased our core e-paper products, covering everything from modules to complete systems. A major highlight was our large-size color e-paper display wall, based on our splicing technology.
This solution achieves seamless splicing of multiple large-size color e-paper screens. While maintaining the core advantages of e-paper—global refresh rate, energy saving, and eye protection—it breaks through the size limitations of traditional e-paper, providing an innovative solution for digital displays in high-end retail windows, corporate image walls, museums, and art galleries. Our large-size e-paper complete system solutions, targeting new retail digital signage, smart offices, and public displays, combine energy saving and eye protection, offering an ideal choice for efficient display.
Color e-paper technology, with its rich color expression, breaks through the traditional perception of e-paper as "black and white," expanding application boundaries and giving digital information reading more emotion and vitality. The E5 series and segment code series e-paper display modules, with their high reliability and ultra-low power consumption, continue to empower smart IoT application scenarios, reshaping the interactive experience of public spaces and information displays.
Meanwhile, DKE also showcased the world's first mass-produced flexible electronic paper display module based on organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) technology. This module replaces silicon with organic polymer materials, uses a plastic substrate to achieve 180-degree bending and impact resistance, and reduces thickness by 80%. Through a low-temperature process (reducing energy consumption by 70%) and a pioneering bending lamination process, it solves the circuit integrity problem under extreme bending, and combines a full plastic architecture to achieve flexible bending and touch integration. Equipped with an electronic paper film, its power consumption is only 1/1000th of traditional solutions. It has already been applied to the Ledger Stax encrypted wallet, opening up possibilities for flexible displays in smart wearables, foldable devices, and curved displays.
At the concurrently held "2025 Global Electronic Paper Technology and Application Summit Forum," DKE Chairman Zhou Aijun, as the president of the Guangdong Electronic Paper Industry Promotion Association, attended and delivered a speech.
